Temples 

• The Sanctuary of Truth is a breathtaking 105-metre high wooden Temple was constructed according to ancient Thai building traditions and is decorated with wooden carved sculptures which, according to its caretakers, use art and culture as the reflection of Ancient Vision of Earth, Ancient  Knowledge,  and  Eastern Philosophy. Within this complex, they hope visitors will understand Ancient Life, Human  Responsibility,  Basic Thought, The Cycle of living, Life Relationship with Universe and The Common Goal of Life toward Utopia.  Well trained dolphins entertain the crowds Traditional Thai Dance and Music bring the place to life. Visitors can learn wood carving techniques or just relax in the restaurant.
  
• Wat Yansangwararam  is a royal temple, featuring relics of the Lord Buddha and those of the Lord Buddha's disciples., while Wat Phra Yai is home of the 'Phra Phuttha Sukothai Walaichonlatham' Buddha image.
  
• Wat Khao Phra Bat can be reached via the road that leads to Khao Pattaya View Point. Once at the  top of this hill you can enjoy spectacular views of Pattaya Bay and the surrounding area. Here you will find a sacred relic of Lord Buddha's foot, where worshippers come to pay their respects year round .

Beaches and Islands 

• Pattaya Beach
  With over four kilometers of beach overlooking Pattaya Bay this is the central location for holiday  makers in the region.  At the quieter northern end, there are many hotels and restaurants with the central part hosting a large shopping centre.  The southern end of the beach is home to Pattaya's infamous nightlife, complete with nightclubs, bars, restaurants - not for the faint-hearted. Speedboats to the regions many islands and fishing villages depart from South Pattaya.  
  
• Jomtien Beach  
  Only 4km away from Pattaya, Jomtien has less commercial boat traffic and great onshore wind making it a Mecca for  water sports fans.  Bars, restaurants, hotels and condominiums line the shore of  this bustling new holiday destination. Another popular destination is Wong Phrachan Beach, which is smaller, quieter and more relaxed but still just over one kilometre in length.
  
• Koh Lan. Koh Krok and Koh Sak
  West of the Pattaya Strait, about 7.7 kilometers from the shore, lies the stunning island of Koh Lan. complete with tropical beaches, fantastic coral and a wide selection of water-sports activities. Nearby Koh Krok is much smaller and also perfect for snorkeling to see the colourful corals as it is only 0.05 square kilometres around with one a 100m beach. Approximately 10 kms west of Pattaya Strait, Koh Sak is shaped like a horse shoe with an area of 0.05 square kilometers.
• Ko Phai Group of Islands 
  Comprised of Koh Phai, Koh Manwichai, Koh Luam, Koh Klung Badan,  plus smaller outlying islands. Although currently supervised by the Royal Navy, visitors are welcome to take the two hour boat journey to enjoy the swimming, fishing and diving on these stunning islands.  
  

Golfing in Pataya

• There are over 15 Championship golf courses abound in Pattaya and Chonburi  including Nick Faldo's Great Lake Golf Clubs and Pete Dye's 27 Hole Khao Kheow. Most courses organize transfers to and from your villa and can provide high quality clubs. 
  

Horse riding

The Horseshoe Point Resort & Country Club offers several kinds of riding for all levels, including dressage in their indoor arena, jumping, polo, children's pony club and trail riding. Outdoor Riding Stables Pattaya provides excursions on horse back for experienced riders and beginners.

Bowling

• Pattaya Bowl and PS Bowl are just two of the many ten pin bowling facilities to be found in and around Pattaya. 
  

Flying

• The Thai Flying Club is located at Bang Phra Airfield thirty minutes drive from Pattaya and offers PPL (private pilot) flying courses in both Thai and English. They offer a 30 minute introduction flight for  3,000 Baht during the week or 4,200 Baht at the weekend.  Pilots who already have their foreign license can also validate it here at The Thai Flying Club.
  

Water Sports

With the sea temperature a balmy 28 degrees, you'll find an abundance of water based activities on Pattaya beach from Banana boats to jet skies, water skiing to snorkeling. At only two hours drive from Bangkok, Pattaya is the ultimate holiday getaway for those escaping from the big city, and what a perfect way to enjoy the holiday than by joining one of Pattaya's many water sports activities.

Scuba Diving

• With all year diving and a large choice of dive sites Pattaya has developed a reputation as a diving location. Professional Dive operations take speedboats to dive sites in Koh Lan, Koh Sak and Koh Khrok as well as the outlying islands of Koh Man Wichai and Koh Rin, which are reputed to have better visibility. There are several wrecks off Pattaya's shore, including a 420-metre long ship know as The Hardeep which sank in 1942.

Deep Sea Fishing

• Small groups get together to hire fishing boats decked out with all the equipment for catching, Barracuda, Marlin, Queen Fish and Cobia and other deep sea fish.

Windsurfing

• Pattaya is Thailand's premier place for Windsurfing in Thailand. The best season is between October and June and Jomtien Beach is the place to do it.  There's training available for beginners and everyone's welcome to join in. Competitions and events are organized by the Pattaya Windsurf Club.

Water skiing and Cable Skiing

• For Water Skiing head to the most northern and southern parts of Pattaya Beach, as well as Jomtien beach. You can also visit Lakeland Water Cable Ski which is a beautiful fresh water lake set up for water-sports and Cable skiing where instead of being pulled by a boat the skier is pulled by an electric-powered cable system.  The Bamrung Sailing and Paramotor Centre is also a great location for enjoying a wide selection of water sports including windsurfing, kayaking, sailing catamarans, paragliding and para-motors.
